Zonke Engineering is a niche market product supplier whose business is focused on areas where we can add value to our clients. The company's core competency lies in the import of products not produced in South Africa and the export of local technological products to the rest of the world.  We offer a full turnkey service and our expertise lies in our ability to source, finance products internationally and to deliver anywhere in the world.
BACKGROUND
Zonke engineering was created in 1997 by a group of like-minded individuals of diverse but complimentary disciplines whose vision was to create a company which reflects the demographics and socio-economic environment in South Africa and which could add value to clients.

Zonke engineering's overriding philosophy is one of partnering our clients to find the best,most appropriate solution to their technical requirements. By creating a partnership which is mutually beneficial to both parties we are able to target problem areas,provide customised solutions and reduce total cost of ownership, always adding to our clients' bottom-line profits.

Our network of contacts throughout the world allows us to source high quality engineering technology such as valves, instrumentation, electronics super alloys and mining products, providing clients with the most appropriate solution to their requirements at the best possible price.

Zonke Engineering's company policy is firmly rooted in its pride in South Africa and its local products and we therefore do not import products in competition with South African producers and focus on importing goods which are not manufactured locally.

We are a truly South African company whose demographics reflects those of the South African population. A core component of our business strategy is a commitment to giving previously disadvantaged individuals the opportunity to share in a successful company, with ongoing training, both in the technical and financial aspects of the business. Zonke has a majority black shareholding with 26% of shares held by people of colour.
